The University of Liberia Faculty Association (ULFA) Inc. was founded in 1985. The ULFA is the umbrella organization of all Faculties at the University of Liberia.
The ULFA has the following as its core objectives:
To promote the teaching profession at all levels of our institution;
To encourage research at the level of all professional disciplines;
To encourage, promote and defend the welfare of the University of Liberia Faculty in general
To promote faculty in accordance with their qualification, experience, community service, and or publication
To encourage, promote and protect academic freedom in teaching and research
To serve as liaison through its Executive Committee between the administration of the University of Liberia and the Faculty
To encourage and promote sound and cordial relationship between or among the faculty members of the University of Liberia
To establish continuous relationship with faculty members of Institutions with similar aims and objectives in Liberia, Africa and the World
